Dr. Geeta Verma

My name is Dr. Geeta Verma. I have lived in Calgary since the age of five. After high school, I attended the University of Alberta, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Genetics in 1995 and then my Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1999. I started my dental career in Edmonton, but soon relocated to Calgary to be closer to family and friends. I worked in Airdrie for 12 years before opening Evanston Family Dental in 2014.

I love meeting new people and want to help you achieve your dental goals. I strive to provide excellent dental care with a gentle touch. I believe that open communication and respect are important factors in creating a positive dental experience. I have been practicing dentistry for over 25 years and am a strong advocate for continuing education. I consistently seek to update my dental training by attending national and international courses and conventions. My goal is to provide optimal and comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and gentle manner. I am a graduate of the Kois Center for Dental Excellence. I maintain memberships with the Calgary Kois Study Club, the Alberta Dental Association and College, the Canadian Dental Association and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, playing golf, hiking and spending time with my husband and two kids.

Dr. Vinit Modi

DDS

My name is Dr. Vinit Modi. My journey in dentistry started in 2009 when I started my bachelor’s degree in dentistry in India. Having passion for Orthodontics, I pursued a Master's degree in Orthodontic after securing a rank in the All India Entrance Examination. Following the "Canadian Dream'

I landed in Canada in 2019. I challenged and successfully cleared all the exams of the NDEB equivalency process to get my D.D.S in Canada.

Being a meritorious student throughout my academic career, I enjoy practicing dentistry and strive to provide best possible care, while ensuring utmost comfort.

I am skilled in all areas of general dentistry with a sound background in esthetic dentistry.

Outside of the office, I  enjoy spending time with his wife and daughter. I love reading and exploring new places. I am is excited to be a part of the Evanston Family Dental team and look forward to serving you. 

Dr. Mercy

DMD

My name is Dr. Mercy. I have been practicing dentistry in Alberta for over 25years. My hometown is our capital city, Edmonton. I attended the University of Alberta for undergrad and completed my Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) at the University of Manitoba in 1999. I returned to the UofA and completed my Hospital Residency. I began general practice (and occasional work with the AHS staff/CHRA surgery department) in Calgary in 2000. I joined the team at Evanston Family Dental in 2024 and am looking forward to meeting you and helping you with your dental needs!
