As of May 14, 2020, Alberta dentists are permitted to return to full provision of services. As part of the healthcare industry that deals with patients first hand, we were given the “Expectations and Pathway for Patient Care during the Covid-19 Pandemic” document that will serve as our guide on how to go about the daily procedures specific to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are taking these measures very seriously and have implemented safety protocols that exceed the ADA requirements for workplace safety. Some of these safety protocols include, making sure the staff are taking their temperature and oxygen saturation everyday before we start working, answering screening questions to make sure we are not showing symptoms of the virus and wearing enhanced PPE for every procedure. We will be booking patients at reduced capacity and will ensure that in between appointments we have more than enough time to sanitize our space before the next patient. We will pre-screen and check the temperature of all people entering our clinic and ask that all people sanitize their hands before and after procedures. We have also installed high efficiency hepa air filters/purifiers in our operatories to effectively eradicate possible airborne particles. We have established an alternating work schedule for our staff to reduce the number of staff in the clinic at any given time and will continue to provide our team with up to date training and education pertaining to the risk and control of Covid-19 in the dental office. These are just some of the protocols we have in place to ensure that everyone's health is our utmost priority. Evanston Family Dental is open for any questions you might have. If you have a question, or if you would like to book an appointment for hygiene or any other dental needs, please call us at 403-452-5558. As of today, we are open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We ask that you call to book your appointment, rather than coming directly to the clinic and to wear a mask to your appointment. Please also check your email regularly for updates from us.
We are fully committed to give you and your families the best dental care, as we together fight the spread of covid-19.
